Igor Carino hybridizes ceramic for bonsai, experimenting with 3D printing in the production of vases that respect and enhance the Japanese tradition.

The design of the four vases are made partly by 3D printing and partly by hand. In particular, the texture (inspired by Japanese ikebana baskets) can only be achieved through ceramic 3D printing.
Furthermore, the printing process makes each vase a unique piece: the texture varies at the minimum of pressure difference and the different consistency of the dough.
